Kurt Schneiderman is an award-winning playwright whose plays have been performed throughout the U.S. and Canada. He is the Founder & Artistic Director of Buffalo’s Subversive Theatre Collective and the Founder of the Buffalo infringement Festival. He was a professor in the English Department at Canisius College for over ten years, teaching the craft of playwriting. Also an award-winning lighting designer, he is a veteran theatre technician who has worked with just about every theatre company in the Buffalo area. An avid student of local history, Kurt has written multiple plays about Buffalo past, present, and future. Long fascinated by mystical matters, folklore, astrology, and the ways in which ghostly tales intertwine with the history of our region, Kurt is honored to lead tours with Haunted History Ghost Walks and continue his journey exploring the extraordinary forces all around us. Kurt specializes in city of Buffalo events–and Haunted History Ghost Walks, Inc., is privileged to have him with us for his third year.
